ForgeMind
Engineering experiments, analysed.
Aeryn Systems' first software initiative: a workspace for aerial robotics engineering, simulation, experiment management, and technical analysis.
Development status: Private alpha. Control analysis and firmware tools work and have reference tests. Mechanical CAD is experimental. Aerial-robotics simulation and experiment management are planned, not implemented. ForgeMind is not a general-purpose engineering assistant.
The problem
Autonomous aerial engineering work is spread across modelling tools, simulators, CAD files, and spreadsheets, which makes experiments hard to repeat and results hard to compare.
Product vision
ForgeMind is being repositioned as a focused engineering workspace for aerial robotics: running real analysis tools, tracking experiments, and keeping technical results traceable.
Planned capabilities
What we are building toward. These are not generally available; the status above is authoritative.
- Control-system analysis: transfer functions, PID design, step response, Bode plots, stability (working in private alpha)
- Firmware compilation and diagnostics with GCC (working in private alpha)
- Electronics calculations (partial; analytical only)
- Mechanical CAD with build123d (experimental; enclosure export still being fixed)
- Simulation workflows for aerial robotics (planned; not yet implemented)
- Experiment management and technical analysis records (planned direction)
Intended users
- Engineers and researchers working on aerial robotics and control
- Small engineering teams that need traceable experiments
